A strong acid is one that completely ionizes in water to form a large amount of hydrogen ion
A weak acid is that one which partially dissociates in an aqueous solution and produces a small number of hydrogen ions.
HCl, H2SO4, HNO3 are strong acids.
CH3COOH, H2CO3, H2SO3 are weak acids.
