Solution:

F = 30 N

d = 5 m

Work done = F \times d

W = 30 \times 5 = 150 Joules

hello students welcome to Lido learning's question and answer videos let's have a look at this fairly simple mathematical problem based on the force that is a force of 30 newton acts on a body so let's say this is our body a and a force is acting which is equal to 30 newtons okay and moves it through a distance off so let's say this the force made this body move a distance of 5 meter right so it moves through a distance of 5 meter in the direction of the force so if this is the direction of the force applied this is also moving in the same direction right now our body has reached over here right we have to calculate the work done by the force so before going ahead with the question over here let's just understand what all work is done is related to so work is directly proportional to the force work is directly proportional to the displacement in this case force over here or we may write work done is equal to force into displacement that is w is equal to f into d now let's write down what all is given to us so we are given f which is 30 newtons we are also given the d because if you see the body a has moved a displacement or is displaced by 5 meters and this is the new position of a which is due to this 460 newtons so displacement is 5 meters therefore our work done will be 30 into 5 which is equal to 150 newton meter or we may say 150 joules so this is our answer for work done or we may say that the work is done by the force is 150-newton meter right I hope this point was clear if you have any further questions please post your comments below thank you
