For the celebrating children‟s students of Class VII bought sweets for 740.25 and cold drink for Rs. 70. If 35 students contributed equally what amount, did each student contribute?
Answer:
Total spending amount = ₹740.25 + ₹70
= ₹ 810.25
Total number of students who contributed money = ₹ 35
∴ Contribution of each student =\frac{810.25}{35}
= Rs. 23.15
