NCERT Exemplar Solutions Class 7 Mathematics Solutions for Integers - Exercise in Chapter 1 - Integers

Question 150 Integers - Exercise

Which of the following is an odd one out which gives a different result?

Answer:

(A) \quad \frac{(-100)}{5}=-20 \\ (B) \quad \frac{(-81)}{9}=-9 \\ (C) \quad \frac{(-75)}{5}=-15 \\ (D) \frac{(-32)}{9}=\frac{-32}{9}

By the above calculation, we can see that option D is not an integer while other options are integers.

Thus, the option D is different from all others, and therefore odd one out.
