Find the surface area of a sphere of radius : 14 cm
Answer:
Solution:
The curved surface area is equal to the whole area of the sphere since the sphere is completely curved in shape.
Given radius of the sphere, r = 14 cm
Surface area of the sphere = 4π r2
= 4×(22/7)×142
= 4×22×14×2
= 2464 cm3
Hence the surface area of the sphere is 2464 cm2.
