Volume of the cone = 48π
(1/3)π r2h = 48π
(1/3)π r2×9 = 48π
3r2 = 48
r2 = 48/3 = 16
r = 4
So diameter = 2×radius
= 2×4
= 8 cm
Hence the diameter of the cone is 8 cm.
