Question 10

Q10) Write all the integers between -5 and 5, which are divisible by 2 or 3.

Solution 10:

The divisibility rule of 2 states that a number is divisible by 2 if its unit digit is any of 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8.

The divisibility rule of 3 states that a number is divisible by 3 only when the sum of its digits is divisible by 3.

Now by following the divisibility rule of 2 and 3 we can conclude that the integers between -5 and 5, which are divisible by 2 or 3 are:

-4,-3,-2,0,2,3 and 4.
