Question 12

Q13) A certain amount of money is distributed among 28 persons. If each person gets Rs. 62.45 and Rs. 5.78 is left, find the original amount of money.

Solution:

Number of persons = 28

Each person gets = Rs. 62.45

Total amount distributed to 28 persons = 62.45 x 28 = Rs. 1748.60

Total amount = 1748.60 + 5.78 = Rs. 1754.38
