Using the Distributive Law of Multiplication [(a×b) + (a×c) = a ×(b+c)]

Let,

a= -26, b= 72, c= 28

Then,

= (-26) × 72 + (-26) × 28

The above equation can be written as,

= {(-26) ×(72 + 28)} … [∵(a×b) + (a×c) = a ×(b+c)]

= {(-26) ×(100)} … [∵(−×−=+)]

= -2600
