Using the Distributive Law of Multiplication [(a×b) + (a×c) = a ×(b+c)]

Let,

a= -11, b= -15, c= -25

Then,

= (-11) × (-15) + (-11) ×(-25)

The above equation can be written as,

= (-11) × {(-15) + (-25)} … [∵(a×b) + (a×c) = a ×(b+c)]

= (-11) × {-15-25} … [∵ (+ × −= −)]

= (-11) × (-40) … [∵(− × −= +)]

= 440
