Answer:
Total friends = 3
Let us consider number of friends joined in a group be ‘x’ friends
We know k = xy
3 × 30 = x × 18
x = (3×30)/18
= 5
Joined friends = 5 – 3 = 2
∴ 2 new members joined the group.
