Video transcript
"hello students welcome to lido q a video session i am sef your maths tutor and question for today is construct a triangle abc in which bc is equal to 3.6 centimeter a b plus ac is equal to 4.8 centimeter and angle b is equal to 60 degree now here i will explain the construction through the steps step number one should be like this steps of construction are the first step that is you have to draw the line segment bc with the help of scale that is 3.6 centimeter once you have drawn the line segment bc the step number two is to note the point b where it is so at the point b you have to draw angle x b c which is equal to 60 degree with the help of your rounder so here second step at point b draw an angle angle xbc which is equal to 60 degree this 60 degree can also be drawn with the help of protractor so you use your protector measure the 60 degree and draw the 60 degree over there at the point b third point draw an arc which intersects xb at point d so xb at point d you have to draw one arc now such that you have to take this radius of bd to be 4.8 centimeter so again i'll repeat this step draw an arc on xb segment which intersects at point d such that bd should be equal to 4.8 centimeter step number four in step number four you have to join the you have to join dc so as shown in the figure you can see the figure joint dc now in step 5 you have to draw the perpendicular bisector of dc which intersects db at a draw a perpendicular bisector of bc so with the help of rounder you have to draw the perpendicular bisector of bc uh perpendicular bisector of dc so here are the points i'm highlighting from this and this you draw the perpendicular bisector from these two points such that which intersects db at a now in the step c you can join ac step 6 join ac hence you have got the triangle abc which is required a triangle so these were the steps of construction of triangle abc in which bc is equal 63.6 centimeter ab plus ac was 4.8 centimeter and angle b is 60 degree if you have any doubt regarding any of the steps you can drop it down into your comment section and subscribe to our channel for more such interesting question answers thank you for watching "
