Q5)
(a) Is it possible to have a regular polygon with measure of each exterior angle as 22°?
(b) Can it be an interior angle of a regular polygon? Why?
Solution 5:
(a): The sum of all exterior angles is 360,
A polygon will be possible 22 is proper multiple of 360
Since 22 is not a proper multiple of 360, the polygon wont be possible.
(b): Interior angle=22
Exterior angle=180-22
=158
Since 158 is not a proper multiple of 360 the polygon wont be possible.
