Solution:

17+6p=9

\Rightarrow\ 17+6p-17=9-17

[Subtracting 17 from both sides]

\Rightarrow\ 6p=-8\Rightarrow\ \frac{6p}{6}=-\frac{8}{6}

[Dividing both sides by 6]

\Rightarrow\ p=-\frac{4}{3}

Okay hello, children welcome to another question, this is question number 11. Now in this question what you have to do is you have to find the value of p from the equation so first let's do one thing let's keep the variable at one side and let's take the constants to another so here we go so this is 6p so I know you are already familiar with the concept of negative numbers so let's take 17 to the other side so this will be 6p just a second this will be 6p is equal to 9 minus 17 so. our answer is going to come out to be 6 p is equal to so 9 minus 17 gives us minus 8 so this is negative 8 right so we are going behind the zero so now from this to find it is very simple so we just take 6 to the other side so it naturally goes into the denominator so our p comes out to be minus 8 divided by 6 so this is very easy after this 8 you can divide it by 2 to give 4 and 6 also you can divide it by 2 to give a 3 so your final answer will roll out to be minus 4 by 3 so the value of p from this equation value of p from this equation is minus 4 by 3 thank you so much.
