Solution:

Let the distance covered in 5 hours be x km.

1 hour = 60 min

Therefore, 5 hours = 5\times60=300

Here distance covered and time in direct proportion.

\frac{14}{25}=\frac{x}{300}

x=\frac{300\times14}{25}

x=168km.

Hence the distance covered in 5 hours is 168 km.
