Q6) A milk tank is in the form of cylinder whose radius is 1.5 m and length is 7 m. Find the quantity of milk in litres that can be stored in the tank?
Solution 6:
For milk tank,
raidus = 1.5 m
length = 7m
volume = 2\pi r^2h\
= 2\times\frac{22}{7}\times1.5\times1.5\times7\
= 99\ m^3
we know that 1 m^3 = 1000 l can be hold
Therefore 99\ m^3 will hold
99\times1000\ =\ 99000l\
