(b) Given Sara’s age today to be y years. Think of her age in the future or in the past.

What will the following expression indicate? Y + 7, y – 3, y+4 \frac{1}{2}, y-2 \frac{1}{2}

(c) Given n students in the class like football, what may 2n shows? What may n / 2 show?

Answer:

(a) (x – 2) represents the person whose age is (x – 2) years and he is 2 years younger to

Munnu

(x + 4) represents the person whose age is (x + 4) years and he is 4 years elder than

Munnu

(3x + 7) represents the person whose age is (3x + 7) years, elder to Munnu and his age is

7 years more than the three times of the age of Munnu

(b) In Future

After n years since now, Sara’s age will be (y + n) years

In past

n years ago, Sara’s age was (y – n) years

(y + 7) represents the person whose age is (y + 7) years and is 7 years elder to Sara

(y – 3) represents the person whose age is (y – 3) years and is 3 years younger to Sara y+4 \frac{1}{2} represents the person whose age is y+4 \frac{1}{2} years and is 4 \frac{1}{2} years elder to Sara

y-2 \frac{1}{2} represents the person whose age isy-2 \frac{1}{2} years and is2\frac{1}{2} years younger to Sara

(c) 2n shows the number of students who like either football or some other game like tennis whereas n / 2 shows the number of students who like tennis out of the total number of students who like football.

Video transcript
"hello guys welcome back to the drum book i'm ravan kumar working as a tutor that leader so today we are going to solve this important problem so let's see what is that here observe properly so in the figure we have x and y are the midpoints of so x and y are the midpoints of ac and bc right so now and ax is equal to cy so ax is equals to c by it seems so now they're asking us to show that ac is equals to bc okay so ac is equals to bc now we should show that now one thing observed properly as they have given ax is equals to c by so as x and y are midpoints right so x and y are midpoint so now they are we can also say that so a x is equals to x c and then b y is equals to yc because as they are midpoints definitely they will divide this total length into half and off right so that is why they are equal now they said that a x a x is equals to y c so that means as a x so as a x is equals to y c we can say that y c is equals to x c right so y c is equal to x c because ax and yc are equal and in the same way b y is equals to ax because a x and y c are again same so now with this all measurements we can count we can substitute because all lengths are equal here right so we can say that a b sorry that is ac is equals to b c so i hope you have understood what i've done here if you have any doubts please comment below don't forget to subscribe to this channel thank you so much for watching this stay tuned thank you"
