SOLUTION:

i) 3 to 6

here, the hour hand moves from 3 to 6. it starts from 3 and covers digits 4, 5 and 6.

so, the hour hand-turned by one right angle.

ii) 2 to 8

here, the hour hand turns from 2 to 8. it starts from 2 and covers digits 3,4,5,6,7 and 8. so, the hour hand-turned by two right angles.

iii) 5 to 11

here, the hour hand turns from 5 to 11. it starts from 5 and covers digit 6, 7, 8,9,10 and 11. so, the hour hand-turned by two right angles.

iv)10 to 1

here, the hour hand turns from 10 to 1. it starts from 10 and covers digit 11, 12 and 1. so, the hour hand-turned by one right angle.

v) 12 to 9
