Q1) If the cost of 7 m of cloth is 1470, find the cost of 5 m of cloth.

SOLUTION:

Given, the cost of 7m of cloth is rs1470

therefore, the cost of 1m of cloth = \frac{1470}{7}=rs.42

cost of 5m of cloth rs.42\times5=210

hence, the cost of 5m of cloth is rs.210.
