ML Aggarwal Solutions Class 8 Mathematics Solutions for Visualising Solid Shapes Exercise 17.2 in Chapter 17 - Visualising Solid Shapes

Question 6 Visualising Solid Shapes Exercise 17.2

If a polyhedron has 7 faces and 10 vertices, find the number of edges.

We know that,

A polyhedron has 7 faces and 10 vertices

Here

No. of edges = F + V – 2

Substituting the values

= 7 + 10 – 2

= 15

Video transcript
"hello students i am data your math leader tutor and the today's question is if a polyhedron has seven faces and ten vertices find the number of edges so we apply in this question we apply the alice formula and according to alice formula we have face plus vertices minus edges is equal to 2 this is the anode's formula now we substitute the values there are seven faces plus 10 vertices minus edges is equal to 2 it means 10 plus 7 17 minus 2 is equal to edges so we got 15 edges so this is our answer i hope you like this video so please subscribe leto for more updates and do comment your questions thank you "
