 # ML Aggarwal Solutions Class 8 Mathematics Solutions for Visualising Solid Shapes Exercise 17.2 in Chapter 17 - Visualising Solid Shapes

If a polyhedron has 8 faces and 8 vertices, find the number of edges.

We know that,

A polyhedron has 8 faces and 8 vertices.

Here

No. of edges = F + V – 2

Substituting the values

= 8 + 8 – 2

= 14

"hello students i am dieter your math leader tutor and the today's question is if a polyhedron have eight faces and eight vertices find the numbers of ages first of all in this question we apply the alice formula and according to alice formula we have the formula f plus v minus e and in the question is equal to 2 now we substitute the values the faces are 8 the vertices are 8 and we have to find the edges so 8 plus 8 16 minus edges is equal to 2 so we got 16 minus 2 equal to e it means there are 14 edges so this is our answer i hope you like this video so please subscribe leto for more updates and to comment your questions thank you "
