Solution:

(a) P+O_2\ →\ P_2O_5

No. of atoms of P & O should be equal on both sides

There are 2 atoms of oxygen on LHS and 5 on RHS

P+5O_2\ →\ 2P_2O_5

Now there are 4 atoms of P on RHS and 1 on LHS

Now the equation is
