Our curriculum is designed grade-wise, and each grade corresponds to approximately one year of work. The grades are grouped as follows:
Grades 4 & 5: Introduction to Block-Based Coding, for students aged 7 years to 10 years. This class combines the introductory coding skills, with a fun and engaging curriculum using block-based languages such as Scratch 3.0, Blockly, MakeCode Arcade, etc. This is the perfect introduction to coding and technology for younger students.
The content will take students through a wide range of concepts and get them really thinking in code. Students learn to publish multi-page websites and develop cross-platform mobile applications using Thunkable.
Grades 8 & 9 : The curriculum of Grades 8 & 9 contains a variety of advanced programming topics and lots of student-driven project work. Content at this level is of a higher-level difficulty and requires dedication and aptitude for coding.
Grade 10- 12: Students will learn all computer science concepts like computer organization & architecture, logic gates, number systems and operating systems. They will develop mastery in Python & Java programming languages with help of real-world application-based projects. Moreover, they will also learn about the latest tech like Cloud Computing, Blockchain, AR/VR and Metaverse.
As students progress through grades they take on larger projects, which will take multiple classes to complete. Some units require a strong grasp of coding skills and an aptitude for critical thinking, problem-solving and creative programming.
Along with the core coding elements, there are a variety of other technical skills cultivated throughout all grades such as publishing websites and mobile applications, importing external repositories, using content delivery networks, GitHub, Web Hosting etc.
